Description
Annie Rowan Forney Daugette was born June 1, 1876 in Benton County, Alabama. She was First Lady of the Jacksonville State Normal School, later named Jacksonville State Teacher's College, 1899-1942. In 1897 Annie Rowan Forney married Clarence William Daugette at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Jacksonville. They lived in a plantation home on the edge of the school campus referred to as "The Magnolias." (circa 1930)
