Description
Annie Rowan Forney Daugette was First Lady of the Jacksonville State Normal School, later named Jacksonville State Teacher's College, 1899-1942. In 1897 Annie Rowan Forney married Clarence William Daugette at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Jacksonville. They lived in a plantation home on the edge of the school campus referred to as "The Magnolias." The original was courtesy of C.W. Daugette, Jr. (circa 1930)
