The first Governor's Day was held April 8, 1960 at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University). Together with President Houston Cole and Major General Henry Graham, Governor John Patterson reviewed ROTC units. Shown ROTC color guard lead the way across the front lawn on campus.
