Memo from Colonel Forest O. Wells, commander of JSU ROTC, regarding the ROTC’s heraldry – the original Gamecock shoulder patch and suggested updated heraldry incorporating the university name. Enclosed are 3 suggested designs along with correspondence with Howard G. Blumberg of School Teachers Supply Corp from 23 June 1970, 30 June 1970, and 27 July 1970 regarding feasibility of manufacture of ROTC patches to specifications. (memo dated August 13, 1970)
