Description
This souvenir booklet was released to commemorate the building and staffing of Camp McClellan (later Fort McClellan) in Anniston, Ala. Camp McClellan was originally constructed as a World War I training camp for U.S. soldiers primarily from Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC, Delaware, and New Jersey. According to an inscription on the back cover, this copy probably belonged to Private Ervin [last name illegible], Battery F., 35th Field Artillery, who was stationed at the camp in 1917. It was presented to the Library by James Haywood.
