French Ambassador to the United States, His Excellency Henri Bonnet and Madame Bonnet, were honored at Jacksonville State Teachers College Oct 30, 1947 with a banquet given by the faculty. Dr. James Jones, Head of Department of Foreign Languages, was host of the annual meeting of the Alabama Chapter of the American Association of Teachers of French held October 30 - November 1, 1947 at Jacksonville State Teachers College. Shown Charles Motley, president of the Junior Class, Veterans Club, and French Club, greets Ambassador Bonnet.
