Description

French Ambassador to the United States, His Excellency Henri Bonnet and Madame Bonnet, were honored at Jacksonville State Teachers College Oct 30, 1947 with a banquet given by the faculty. Dr. James Jones, Head of Department of Foreign Languages, was host of the annual meeting of the Alabama Chapter of the American Association of Teachers of French held October 30 - November 1, 1947 at Jacksonville State Teachers College. Shown guests of the French banquet enjoy the meal. Identified at the head table are Senator John C. Sparkman, Ambassador Henri Bonnet, Madame Bonnet, President Houston Cole, and Director James H. Jones.
