Jacksonville State College International House students celebrated United Nations Day on October 24, 1954. Shown Hans Struth, left, and Nicole Noel, right, help celebrate by signifying their approval of the French-German agreement. They stand behind the cake which was a replica of the United Nations building in New York City.
