Description
Jacksonville State College International House students celebrated United Nations Day on October 24, 1954. Mrs. Mary Lowrey was representative of the United States UN Committee in charge. Shown a group of female students dressed in formal attire stand inside the International House with Professor Mary Lowrey. They stand around the table displaying the cake which was a replica of the United Nations building in New York City.
