Awards were presented to the outstanding athletes and athletic staff at the annual athletic banquet held May 11, 1970 in the Leone Cole Auditorium at Jacksonville State University. Shown are the top football and basketball players of 1969-1970 with their coaches. From left are basketball coach Tom Roberson, most valuable basketball player Wayne Wigley, head football coach Charley Pell, and most valuable football player Gary Godfrey.
