Dr. Ernest Stone, Professor of Education and Superintendent of City Schools, was presented a cashier's check on behalf of the laboratory schools' faculties. The check was for the purchase of new academic cap and gown appropriate to the honorary degree of doctor of laws which Dr. Stone received at Howard College May 28, 1962. (circa May 28, 1962)
