Description

The director of the Fairfield High School band and officials of FHS were honored at a reception given by President and Mrs. Houston Cole August 12, 1962 in the Student Union Building. The band was visiting Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) for concentrated practice and band camp before the start of school. Shown from left are Dr. Houston Cole, Mrs. Martha Cole, Mrs. Alexander Nunn, Mr. Nunn, Mrs. B.R. Bearden, and Mr. Bearden.
