Description

Robert Cantrick was the Department Head, Chairman of Division of Fine Arts, and Visiting Associate Professor of Music at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University). Standing far right he shakes hands with an unidentified female. Standing between them are Mr. and Mrs. Lindsey Murdock. The director of the Fairfield High School band, Lindsey Murdock, and officials of FHS were honored at a reception given by President and Mrs. Houston Cole August 12, 1962 in the Student Union Building.
