Description

Spring ball at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) was held April 23, 1963 in the Leone Cole Auditorium. Retiring SGA president Brad Mitchell, left, and retiring SGA secretary Joan Smithey, second from left, were honored by students during the ball. Mitchell was presented a silver key ring and Smithey received a bouquet of roses. Making the presentation were incoming SGA president Gerald Waldrop, right, and newly elected SGA treasurer Bobby Clotfelter, second from right.
