Dean of Students at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) Leon Willman stands with a semi precious stone he discovered while in Mexico. The "rock hound" traveled to Mexico with Professor Leon McCluer during Christmas holidays in 1961. (circa December 25, 1961)
