Description

Judy Shanaberger, junior at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University), was crowned ROTC queen at the spring military ball April 3, 1963. She was selected from eight candidates composed of ROTC sponsors. Placing the crown on her head is Dean Lawrence Miles. Presenting a bouquet of American Beauty roses is Colonel Russell Reed of the Fourth U.S. Army Corps.
