Description

U.S. Republican Barry Goldwater was Republican Presidential candidate in 1964. November 6, 1967 he visited the Jacksonville State College campus and spoke on "The State of the World Today." A press conference preceded his speech. Shown Goldwater is seated at the head of a table with President Houston Cole. Students Steve Carlson, Larry Smith, and Martin Ennis are seated around the table taking notes during the press conference. Assistant Business Manager Miriam Haywood stands in the background.
