The annual Jacksonville State Teachers College Morgan-Calhoun debate was held May 25, 1944 in the Student Activity Building. Shown right the Morgan speakers, Mary Katherine Barker (first speaker), Mary McWhorter (third speaker), and Clyde Baker (second speaker), are seated at a table during the debate. An unidentified male, possibly judge Major W.M. Kidwell, speaks at the podium.
