In 1966 Governor George Wallace visited Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) on Governor's Day. Here Governor Wallace is shown at the end of the International House outside walkway as ROTC sponsors and cadets stand at attention in formation. A sign across the House columns reads, "Jax State Welcomes the Wallaces."
