Description

Degrees were conferred June 1, 1942 at the 59th annual commencement for the Jacksonville State Teachers College. Dr. C.W. Daugette, president of the college, led the exercises including awarding the degrees and high school diplomas to graduating seniors. Shown Dean C.R. Wood assists on stage. Two months later, on August 9, 1942, Dr. Daugette passed away at age 68. (circa June 1, 1942)
