"Town Meetings for War" were sponsored by Jacksonville State Teachers College and civic organizations of Jacksonville, Alabama. Oscar Strauss, regional director of the Office of Price Administration, addressed the crowd November 3, 1942, as second in a series of speakers. Shown he stands at the podium in the Jacksonville Recreation Center. Paul Arnold is seated in a chair on stage, among others.
