The United States Army Field Band of Washington, D.C. visited Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) in the mid 1960s. The soldier-musicians form a touring musical organization of the United States Army. Shown is John Finley, Associate Professor of Music (far left), Lieutenant Colonel Robert L. Bierly (left middle), David Walters, Assistant Professor of Music (right middle), and Carl Anderson, Assistant Professor of Music (far right).
