The Jacksonville State University Department of Military Science held commissioning exercises for ROTC students in Rowe Hall in 1987. Shown Dr. James A. Reaves, Vice President for Academic Affairs holds a plaque presented to him "in appreciation for his support and guidance" by the JSU Department of Military Science. SGM Richard Tatum looks on.
