Description

Jacksonville State University ROTC Ranger Challenge Team participated in the Ranger Challenge contest held October 19-21, 2001, at Camp Shelby in Mississippi. Teams competed in the following training categories: Army physical fitness test, marksmanship, M16 assembly and disassembly, rope bridge, hand grenade assault course, and finally a 10-kilometer road march. The JSU Ranger Challenge Team was awarded with a silver streamer during the closing ceremony. Shown is a scene from the competition. Identified wearing the hat, may be MSC Jose Barcinas, Jr.
