Description
Scabbard and Blade members at Jacksonville State University held a 2.5 GPA and were enrolled in the advanced ROTC program. Cadets referred to as neophytes performed tasks as instructed by Mike Viers, Scabbard and Blade commander. Shown they stand next to wooden beams with rucksacks in the Rowe Hall parking lot during Spring 1990 initiation activities. Identified neophytes were Ron Gaddy and Brent Crowder.
