Description

Performed: 11-18 July 1998; Noel Coward's "Blithe Spirit" was part of JSU's "Taste of the Town" 1998 summer dinner theater. Mystery writer Charles Condomine invites medium Madame Arcati to conduct a séance in his home. Charles' first wife, Elvira, is materialized, but only to Charles. Elvira becomes jealous of Charles' present wife, Ruth. Charles ends up being haunted by the ghost of his first wife, Elvira, and attempts to disrupt his current marriage. The play was directed by Susan McCain. This item is contained within the Theatre & Film Production Archive.
