Description

Pictured: Shelton Brown, Lee Pope, Steve Whitton, Julie Durbin; Performed: 4-17 August 1989; "The Fantasticks" was one of the three productions part of JSU's 1989 "Taste of the Town" dinner theater. The musical tells the story of a boy and girl in love, but their parents believe that the best way to bring them together is to keep them apart. Managing director/business manager/scenic designer was Carlton Ward, artistic director was Wayne Claeren, technical director/lighting designer was David Keefer, choreographer was Jenny Barnard, rehearsal accompanist was Maia Surace, stage manager was Georgia Brown, properties manager was Joyce Tate, costume designer was Freddy Clements, costume mistress was Joyce Tate, light board operator was Jeanne Carden.
