Description

Pictured: Steve Whitton; Performed: 29 March - 3 April 1988; Neil Simon's "California Suite" was four playlets all set in two rooms of the Beverly Hills Hotel. A divorced couple argue over custody of their daughter, an actress frets over her Oscar nomination while her gay husband comes out, a businessman finds a prostitute in his bed, and two competitive doctors settle their differences with a tennis match. The playlets were directed by Mark Streit and Koen Jansen. The set was overseen by Carlton Ward. This item is contained within the Theatre & Film Production Archive.
