Description
Performed: 22-25 April 2022; Lauren Gunderson's "Emilie: La Marquise Du Chatelet Defends Her Life Tonight" involves 18th century scientific genius Emilie du Chatelet who seeks to answer the question she died with: love or philoshophy, head or heart? She ends up with a formula and a legacy that permeates history. The director and fight choreographer was Dr. Michael Boynton, assistant director was Bridgett Rayburn, stage manager was Grayson Singleton, intimacy choreographer was Carolyn Conover, dramaturgs were Rebecca Weaver and Dr. Tray Ridlen, scenic designer and lighting and projections designer was Jennifer Luck, associate scenic designer was Jess Noel Collier, props assistant was Trevor McWilliams, assistant lighting designer was Leah Bussey, costume designer was Freddy Clements, sound designer was John A. Davis, assistant sound designer was Kylie Sargent, graphic design was by Sarah Carter, printmaking and book arts consultant was Sarah Ellis, and producer was Randy Blades.
