The Jacksonville State College Marching Southerners Drum Corps 1964-1965 members are shown in uniform standing in the grass near Abercrombie Hall. Shown from left are Larry Beck, George Graham, Larry Culpepper, Newll Smith, Don Medders, "Friar Tuck" Gene Fox, Joe Serviss, Troy Crumpton, Tim Camp, Tom Camp, Jerry Mitchell, Bubba Eldridge. The drums were all red with the exception of the one on the far right which was gold. "Bubba had forgotten his drum, so one from the high school was used," said Jerry Mitchell.
