Description
Inscription on the plaque reads: "The Sudler Trophy, Honoring the close relationship and Outstanding contribution of Intercollegiate Marching Bands, to the American way of life, a biannual award recognizing, a university marching band program, which has maintained an exceptionally, high quality of marching innovation and musical, performance over a period of many years, presented to Kenneth G. Bodiford, Jacksonville State University, The Marching Southerners, Director of Bands, 1994-Present, November 11, 2022, Endowed by Louis & Virginia Sudler, Administered by The John Philip Sousa Foundation."
