Inscription on the Trophy reads: "Presented with Sincerest Appreciation to Jacksonville State University Bands In Exhibition at the Bands of America Regional Championship, October 27, 2001, Georgia Dome, Atlanta, Georgia." The show's theme was "A Southerner's Odyssey: Space, Sea, and Sand."
