Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Shelton lived in Jacksonville, Alabama. A.C. Shelton was a state senator, served on the Jacksonville City Council for 12 years, started the Calhoun County Area Vocational Center, was one of the organizers of Life Insurance Company of Alabama in Gadsden, and president of Atlantic National Life Insurance Company in Anniston.
