Description

The homecoming game held October 30, 1976 at Jacksonville State University was a special occasion for the Hammett family. Johnny Hammett, right, started as center in his first home game ever. Cathy Hammett, center, was a finalist in the homecoming queen contest. Ray Hammett, headed specialty teams and was linebacker. Bernard Hammett was the 1952 football captain and returned for alumni events. (circa October 28, 1976)
