Annual spring graduation exercises were held April 25, 1975 at Jacksonville State University in Pete Mathews Coliseum. Honorary doctorate degrees were bestowed upon Tom Ventress (director of Industrial Relations for the State of Alabama) and Asa Green (president of Livingston University). Identified standing with them are President Ernest Stone, Joe C. McCorquodale, Jr. (speaker of the Alabama House of Representatives), and Hugh D. Merrill, Jr. (state representative).
