Description

Brig. Gen. Gerald Childress, the commander of the Third Army ROTC Region, visited Jacksonville State University on November 20, 1975. During the visit he presented Dr. Ernest Stone the "Certification of Appreciation for Patriotic Civilian Service," one of the highest presented to a civilian by the Department of the Army for promoting the U.S. Army.
