Description

In 1965 Governor George Wallace visited Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) and reviewed the 1400 ROTC cadets on Governor's Day. Hugh Merrill, Governor Wallace, President Houston Cole, Col. George D. Haskins, and other dignitaries stood outside on the podium to watch the parade of ROTC cadets march by.
