Description
An unidentified man holds an identification tag with number "161314 St. II A." He may have been a prisoner of war. Stalag II-A was a World War II German prisoner-of-war camp located in Neubrandenburg, Germany. Or, the "St. IIA" may indicate "Strafkompanie" (Penal Company) and a specific section within a concentration camp such as Auschwitz II-Birkenau (St. IIA). (circa 1939-1945)
