Alabama National Guard unit Company H of the 167th Infantry was composed primarily of enlisted men who were or had been students of Jacksonville State Teachers College. Their Captain was C.W. Daugette, Jr., son of Jacksonville State Teachers College President Clarence William Daugette. Shown they stand outside what appears to be Forney Hall. (circa 1931)
