The Alabama Federation of Women's Clubs and District 238 Rotary International presented scholarships for Jacksonville State College international students at a tea held October 21, 1956. Shown from left are Mrs. W.M. Beck (secretary), Margaret Dewar (AFWC scholarship recipient), Mrs. Ernest Stone (AFWC chairman of the Department of International Affairs), and Col. Harry M. Ayers (chairman emeritus of the International Endowment Foundation).
