Twenty-two counties were represented in enrollment in the workshop for teachers at Jacksonville State Teachers College in June 1949. Regular sessions were varied with visits from specialists in various fields. A group composed of teachers made a sightseeing trip to Washington, D.C. on July 7, 1949. Shown are some participants gathered outside the Trion Coach Lines Inc. buses.
