Jerry "Doc" Loving, Phil Ray, Bill Stone, Tony Zinn, Carter Roper, Danny Webster, Richard Lusk and Jerry Savage were Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) students and football players in the mid-1960s. Here the tackles are shown posing in two lines wearing #70, #86, #72, #74, #71, #76, #73, and #75 respectively. The image is described in the 1967 Mimosa as "The men that stop them."
