Description

A reception was held October 3, 1949 at the International House to introduce the new foreign exchange students to the Jacksonville State Teachers College community. Dr. and Mrs. James H. Jones, Dr. and Mrs. William Calvert, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Miller, and a number of students assisted in the receiving during the event. Shown left to right are Michel Bevillard, Henry Miller (Manager of the Profile Mills), Ariane Weber, Dr. William Calvert, Monique Gailotte, Mrs. Palmer Calvert, Lily Cuitte, Raquel Nodal, Noemi Ballart, and an unidentified female individual.
