National Home Economics Week began with a tea held November 9, 1958 at the Jacksonville State College home management house. Shown Mrs. Theron Montgomery, wife to college dean, pours a cup of coffee for Registrar Lawrence Miles during the reception. Home economics major Sybil Estes passes a tray of sweets.
