Description

A plaque was erected on the wall of Hammond Hall at Jacksonville State College. It was placed by Mrs. Fannie Crook Griffith and W.M. Hammond, in commemoration of their grandfather, J.D. Hammond. Shown President Houston Cole, Fay Blackwood (editor of the Collegian), and Charles McCain (SGA treasurer) stand at the plaque outside the building. (circa October 27, 1958)
