Students pledged to national honorary education society Kappa Delta Pi at Jacksonville State Teachers College in a tapping ceremony held June 26, 1947 in the Bibb Graves Hall assembly room. President of the Alabama Education Association A.E.A., Ernest Stone, was also made an honorary member. Standing, left to right, are pledges Margaret Truit, Ernest Stone (honorary), Pearl Peek Vinson, Hazel Entrekin, Lena Mae Landers, Gertrude English, Helen Eiland, Mavorene Henley, Jean Alldredge, Lorrell K.
