Description

Female freshmen students at Jacksonville State Teachers College are shown dressed in nightgowns standing outside in the cold with arms crossed or hands placed in robe pockets. Freshmen students were referred to as, "Rats." This scene appears in the 1948 yearbook, The Mimosa, with the caption, "Fall out for ratting, girls!" (1947-1948)
