Under the direction of Lucille Branscomb, head of the Department of Business Education at Jacksonville State Teachers College, a chapter of the Future Business Teachers of America was organized in 1951. It was the first chapter organized in an Alabama College. Shown officers stand with Lucille Branscomb (faculty sponsor). Included are Homer Stephens (president), Dorothy Raley (1st vice president), Bury Milling (2nd vice president), Betty Cole (secretary), Doyle Evers (treasurer, business manager), and Joyce Lewis (manager).
