Description
The Northeast Alabama Symphony Orchestra was under the direction of Dr. Robert Barron, music faculty at Jacksonville State College. Its first appearance in Jacksonville was a program performed December 13, 1953. Shown Dr. Robert Barron plays violin during the middle of the program, turning over the leadership of the orchestra temporarily to Dr. Walter Mason.
