James E. Folsom, also known as Big Jim Folsom, visited Jacksonville State College October 6, 1954. As the democratic nominee for Alabama Governor, Folsom spoke before an audience of faculty, students, and visitors in the Leone Cole Auditorium. Shown male dignitaries and guests enjoy a meal with President Houston Cole and Jim Folsom inside the Home Management House. Jo Ann Lewis and Mrs. Tyler Posner of the Home Management House serve food to guests. (circa October 6, 1954)
